CheckBooks are a NZ owned & operated business based in Christchurch. We formed in 2007 to provide quality MYOB set-up, training & support for your small to medium sized business.
Our goal is to add value to your business by ensuring you have an organised administration process to monitor your quality financial data on a timely basis. CheckBooks can help you achieve this with the set-up, training & support of an MYOB bookkeeping system.
As an MYOB Approved Partner we have access to a wide range of MYOB software products & resources. Being an MYOB Approved Partner means we are required to pass annual assessments that ensure we meet high level standards set by MYOB. This means you can feel confident knowing that CheckBooks will assist you with a high level of service & support to meet your business needs.
Owners, Vanessa & Paul Townsend, take pride in delivering quality service to our clients and are fully focused on building long-term valuable relationships.
Vanessa is an MYOB Certified Consultant with a NZ Diploma in Business. She has spent 12 years working for Ashton Wheelans & Hegan, Chartered Accountants in Christchurch & 2 years working in the head office of Prouds Jewellers, a large jewellery store chain in Australia. Her experience includes financial & management accounting, payroll, finance, MYOB set-up, training and troubleshooting for a diverse range of businesses. She has also spent 3.5 years working as a frontline Constable for NZ Police in Christchurch.
Paul currently has 20 years experience working in the banking industry in various roles including branch management, customer service & business banking. He also participates at each NZ General Election by managing staff at a local polling booth.
